Volunteers are the foundation of our home
We always have a need for volunteers. All of our volunteers are trained and are only asked to do tasks they are comfortable fulfilling. While resident care remains our biggest need, there are plenty of volunteer opportunities at Mount Carmel House!
We ask that all volunteers do a minimum of four hours a month. This can be on whatever day and whatever time you are available.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Resident care
- Companionship
- Cleaning
- Secretarial
- Cooking
- Gardening/lawn care
- Maintenance
- Fundraising events
and much more!
Volunteering at Mount Carmel House can be very rewarding. Providing a home cooked meal, conversing with our guests and their family, or bringing a smile to their face is something you never forget.
